  • Social Explorer
    This amazing site creates detailed maps from census data. It’s a fantastic tool for figuring out the geographic location of talent pools.  There are also easy to use reports. Here are some maps you should see:
    • Immigration Explorer this map, from the New York Times website, was built using Social Explorer. It gives a graphic representation of immigration and absorption over the past 150 years.
    • Census Tract Population Density Maps. shows educational attainment, Religion. marital status, employment sector and more
    • Religion Maps show the density of various faiths over the post 30 years
    • New York City Race Map shows the neighborhood concentration of different races over the past 100 years in New York City.
       
  • The Pew Hispanic Center’s Hispanic Population by County
    Also includes data sets by state and county.
     
  • The American Human Development Project
    This tremendous resource aggregates data to develop a score to describe living conditions.
     
  • Mapcruzin
    Very dense data source with lots of eco related information in map form.
